Abstract Stabilization of fill soil improve its physical and mechanical properties led to better load carrying capacity enable steeper temporary slope be formed during construction period. In this study an industrial by-product, fly-ash (FA), was used as precursor produce geopolymer chemical stabilizer the soil. Sodium silicate solution (Na 2 SiO 3 ) sodium hydroxide (NaOH) at a concentration 15 molars were combined liquid alkaline activator (AA). The effect different fly ash ratio (0, 1.0, 1.5, 2.5 3.0) on treated measured using Atterberg limit test unconfined compressive strength (UCS) test. All sample tested 1 day days curing period under room temperature. result indicates that highest is obtained with for both curing. addition, plasticity index all ash/alkaline lower than untreated
